Valley of Flowers

Valley of Flowers is a vibrant and splendid national park reposing in West Himalayas. Nestled in Uttarakhand, this alluring place is famous for its charming meadows of alpine flowers. Endowed with a diverse range of endemic flora, it is picturesque in its beauty. This lush region is also home to some rare and endangered animal species. You may spot animals like Asiatic black deer, snow leopard, musk deer, red fox, brown bear and blue sheep. High in the lofty Himalayas of the Garhwal region sprawls this enchanting valley. Legends believe it to be the place from where Hanuman had collected the Sanjeevani buti for curing Lakshmana. This place has floral pastures, running streams and beautiful backdrop of the mountains.

Day 1: Arrival Delhi

Arrival in Delhi. Overnight in Delhi in Guesthouse/hotel.

Day 2: 

Early morning check out from guesthouse/hotel. Drive to Srinagar. Enroute visit to Haridwar for snan in the holy river Ganga. Overnight at Srinagar. 

Day 3:

Morning after breakfast, drive to Joshimath. On arrival check into guesthouse/hotel. After wash & change, local sightseeing of the town. This town is famous for most ancient temple of Lord Narshimha. This place is also famous for a banayan tree which is the legendary and has its age more than 100 years. 

Day 4: 

Morning after breakfast, drive to Govindghat. From Govindghat, the 13 km trek commence to Gangheria which is the overnight stopover point. One can take the assistance of mules if needed on the spot. 

Day 5: 

The day is free for visiting the world’s most beautiful valley known as Valley of Flowers under Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve. Overnight at Gangheria. 

Day 6: 

The day is free for visiting the world’s most beautiful valley known as Valley of Flowers under Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve. Overnight at Gangheria. 

Day 7: 

Morning after breakfast, commence trek back to Govindghat. From here, we drive to the holy hindu shrine – “Badrinath” which is just 24 km away from this place. On arrival, check in hotel/guesthouse and wash & change. Evening go to temple and offer prayers. Overnight at Badrinath. 

Day 8: 

Morning after breakfast, drive back to Joshimath. Overnight at Joshimath.

Day 9: 

Morning after breakfast, drive back to Rishikesh. Evening joining crowd to offer prayer. Local sightseeing of town. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 10: 

Morning after taking holy dip in the river ganga, drive back to Delhi. End of trip.
